How do you separate close seasonal palettes?
#1
A recent quiz suggested that my colours may be softly cool, and I am taking that cautiously. Rather than buying new clothes, I pulled together scarves, shirts, and jewellery I already own. I compare one colour at a time against a plain neckline in morning daylight. Soft navy, smoky rose, and muted teal feel promising, while icy pastels feel less certain. I am trying to separate a pleasant colour from one that actually looks harmonious. A what is my color palette would be one reference among several, rather than a reason to replace everything. I do not want to turn one tentative result into a strict list of forbidden colours. I keep the trial modest by testing one colour in more than one ordinary setting. Have you found a good way to test a palette gradually with existing pieces? I am interested in methods that do not require a complete wardrobe reset. The small experiments already feel more useful than a sudden shopping plan. The experiment feels worthwhile if it makes familiar clothes easier to combine. I am grateful for experiences that avoided unnecessary purchases.
