I am preparing a generated ambience for a small game scene, and a faint tick returns at the loop boundary. The recording has a quiet grainy layer throughout, so I am trying to separate two possible problems. I can edit the endpoints and try a short crossfade before considering any broader processing. I found a reference to ai audio artifact removal during my search, but the editing order still matters. I still need to determine whether the boundary reveals an existing sound or creates a new discontinuity. Would you inspect the boundary first and then audition a longer uninterrupted section? An untouched copy would make it easier to compare each edit with the starting point. After editing, I would check the actual game playback as well as the audio editor. When would you move from fixing the join to evaluating the texture across the recording?
